O God, our loving Father,

You filled the heart of your servant, Father Patrick Peyton,

with a burning love for You and for the Holy Family

Through his tireless work, he taught the world

that "the family that prays together, stays together."

Grant that, through his example and intercession, 

families everywhere may be united in faith,

steadfast in hope, and generous in love.

Bless our homes with peace,

our hearts with trust,

and our lives with the joy of Your presence.

If it be your will,

grant that Father Peyton may be raised to the honor of sainthood,

so that his life's mission may continue to inspire generations to come.
